Abrasive nylon brushes cut by abrasion rather than by scraping metal against metal: the nylon filament itself is impregnated with aluminium-oxide or silicon-carbide grit, so it removes rust, paint, and light corrosion without sparking and without embedding steel particles in the workpiece — which is why it's the standard choice on softer metals like aluminium, where a plain steel wire brush would mar the surface. Our range covers a 4 in cup-form brush on a 5/8-11 arbor for bench-grinder work (80/120/240 grit), a 1/4 in shank wheel set sized for hand drills (80–600 grit range), and bulk abrasive nylon filament itself for brush-makers building their own tooling. Grit is chosen the way sandpaper grit is — coarser for fast material removal, finer for a smoother finishing pass. Made to order at our Yuantan factory cluster, grit grade, fill density, and arbor size can be matched to your specific finishing job.

- Abrasive nylon or steel wire wheel?
- Abrasive nylon cuts without gouging soft metals like aluminium and does not spark or leave ferrous particles; steel wire is more aggressive for heavy rust and scale on steel.
- Which grit should I choose?
- Coarser grit (80) for fast stock and rust removal, finer grit (240 and up) for a smoother finish. The drill wheel set spans 80–600 grit.
- Do you sell abrasive filament for brush makers?
