Description

A heavy spiral-wound roller with 0.4 mm steel wire strip wrapped around an 80 mm steel pipe, 250 mm overall and 1450 mm long. It is built to strip hardened concrete from moulds, pallets and conveyors on block-making lines. Diameter, length, wire density and stiffness, and shafted or shaftless ends are made to order.

Concrete residue is abrasive and sets hard, so steel wire is the usual choice when nylon simply rides over the build-up. A spiral wound face keeps contact continuous across the pallet width, which avoids the striped cleaning pattern that segmented brushes can leave. Check that your machine has enough drive torque for a dense wire roller of this size, and confirm whether you need a full shaft or a bare tube that slides onto your existing spindle.

For a quotation, send the overall diameter, working length, core or bore size, journal dimensions and keyway details, plus a photo or drawing of the old roller. Tell us the block machine model, whether the roller runs wet or dry, and how stiff the current wire feels. If you want a softer action, ask for a PP or mixed PP and wire fill on the same core so you can compare both on the line.
