Description
A twisted-in-wire boiler tube brush with an M6 threaded end, built on a two-stem or four-stem twisted core. Brush diameters run from 20 to 150 mm in carbon steel or stainless wire for removing scale, rust and sediment from boiler and heat exchanger tubes. Copper, copper-plated steel, abrasive and nylon fills are also made to order.
Choose a brush diameter equal to or slightly larger than the tube bore so the wire presses firmly against the wall. A four-stem core gives a denser, stiffer face for hard scale; two-stem is more flexible on bends. Use stainless wire on stainless tubes to avoid carbon contamination, and carbon steel for the fastest scale removal in steel boiler tubes.
For a quote, give the tube inside diameter, tube length and material, the brush length, wire type, and whether you drive the brush by hand rods, a drill or a tube-cleaning machine. Drawings are welcome; brushes are packed to protect the heads in transit. If your tubes are long, mention it so we can advise on rod connections and how many brushes to allow per cleaning cycle.
