Description
A small stem-mounted wire wheel on a 6 mm (1/4 in) steel spindle that fits air-tool collets and drill chucks. The 50 mm wheel uses 0.3 mm high-carbon steel wire with a 12 mm wire length and is rated to 15,000 rpm. Customization is accepted.
Spindle-mounted wheels let small tools reach inside housings, castings and corners that a grinder-mounted wheel cannot. Keep the tool speed within the 15,000 rpm rating and use light pressure — letting the wire tips do the work extends brush life. For stainless parts, ask for a stainless-wire version to avoid contamination.
