Description
A wide-face crimped wire wheel for surface finishing, weld blending and deburring where more brushing area per pass is needed. The example configuration is 200 mm diameter with a 32 mm bore and a 20–30 mm face filled with crimped stainless wire. Diameter (100–300 mm), face width, bore and wire material are made to order.
A wider face spreads the load across more wire, so the wheel covers flat stock and long weld seams faster and wears more evenly than a narrow wheel. Several wheels can also be ganged on one shaft for automated lines. On narrow grooves or inside corners, a thinner wheel or a knotted wheel will reach better, so match the face width to the part geometry.
To quote, send the outer diameter, face width, bore or spindle size, wire material and gauge, and the drive — bench grinder, hand-held grinder, robot cell or arbor press — together with its speed. Mention whether wheels will be stacked, the workpiece material, and your annual volume so we can confirm hub construction and packing.
