Description
A natural horsehair strip brush for sealing door gaps on timber doors, cabinets and equipment enclosures where a soft, non-marking contact is wanted. Dense horsehair is clamped into a metal or galvanized steel base, listed at 1000 mm long and 100 mm wide. Other sizes, PP or steel-wire fills, colours and H, F, T or Y aluminium holders are available to order.
Horsehair is softer and more pliable than nylon, which makes it a good match for finished wood doors, display cabinets and equipment covers that should not be scratched. It also recovers well after compression, so it keeps sealing on doors that are opened many times a day. Where the seal must take abrasion from rough floors, a nylon or PP fill may last longer.
For a quote, give the lengths needed, the width or bristle projection, whether you want a plain metal base or an aluminium holder (H, F, T or Y), and your quantity. If you are unsure between horsehair and synthetic fill, describe the surface the brush will touch and how often the door is used.
