Description
A black nylon brush seal held in an H-profile aluminium carrier, made to close draught and rain gaps at the top, sides or bottom of garage doors, gates and windows. The listed version has 0.4 mm black nylon, 46 mm plus 50 mm height and a 10 mm thickness, in 3 m lengths that can be cut on site with a fine-tooth saw. H, T or F carriers at 180°, 90° or 45° and other sizes or colours are made on request.
Garage doors leak at three places: the head, the jambs and the floor, and each usually needs a different carrier angle. A straight 180° carrier suits the bottom edge, while 90° and 45° versions let the bristles reach across to a frame or lintel. Strips can be cut to length with a hacksaw, so installers often buy standard 3 m lengths and trim them on site.
For a quote, list how many metres you need for head, sides and bottom, the carrier shape and angle for each, and the gap size. If you are matching an existing seal, a cross-section photo with a ruler is the fastest way to confirm height and thickness.
