Description
A large twist-knot wire wheel with two rows of twisted carbon steel knots for aggressive deburring and removal of oxide, rust and scale. The listed size is 300 mm diameter with a 50 mm bore and 10 mm width, using 0.5 mm carbon steel wire. Other diameters, bores and wire grades are produced to customer specification.
Twisted knots hold the wire in stiff bundles, so a knotted wheel hits harder than a crimped wheel of the same size and is preferred for weld scale, heavy rust, rubber and carbon deposits. A double row of knots gives more wire on the face and longer life than a single row, at the cost of slightly less reach into very narrow gaps.
