Description
A flat crimped-wire wheel built around a center bore for bench grinders, pedestal grinders and arbor-driven machines. The standard fill is crimped stainless steel wire; carbon steel, brass-coated steel and pure brass wire are made to order. Diameter, face width and bore are configured per order, and 32 mm bore wheels can ship with plastic reducer bushings.
Choose the wire first: stainless wire is the safe default for stainless and aluminum parts because it will not leave carbon-steel particles that later rust, while carbon steel cuts faster on mild steel. Then match the bore to your grinder spindle, or order the larger bore with reducer bushings so one wheel stock covers several machines. Always confirm the wheel's rated speed is at or above your spindle's no-load speed before mounting.
For a quote, send the outside diameter, face width, bore (or spindle size and whether you want reducers), wire material and wire gauge, plus the machine model and its running speed. Tell us the job — rust removal, weld cleaning, edge deburring or satin finishing — and the expected annual volume, and we will confirm a construction and sample before production.
