Description
A disc-type side broom for the Johnston VT650, tufted in four rows with flat steel wire of 3.3 × 0.6 mm section, 14 wires per hole. The injection-molded top and the flattened wire are both made in-house, which keeps cost down on repeat orders. Pin diameter and top material (plastic or wood) are chosen per order.
Flat wire of this section is stiffer edge-on than round wire, which helps it dig debris out of gutters, but it should be matched to the machine's down-pressure setting to avoid fast wear. The listing size of 400 × 670 mm pairs the top plate with the working diameter; confirm both against your current broom. Pin diameter matters if you plan to re-use your own tufting pins or compare against an OEM part.
