Broce Broom Replacement: Cross-Reference Guide by Measurement

Buying guide · 4 min read · updated 2026-10-05

Broce's broom-style sweepers are structurally closer to an agricultural rotary broom than the disc-type gutter brooms common on Nilfisk, Dulevo, or Johnston machines, which makes a clear photo especially useful when cross-referencing a Broce replacement.

This guide covers what makes Broce's construction different and what we need to match it accurately.

Why Broce brooms need a closer look

Outer diameter (OD)BoreTrim fill
Broce's wafer/segment construction is measured the same way as any broom — outer diameter, mounting interface, and fill trim — but the segment layout itself varies more between models.

Many Broce machines use a wafer or segment-style broom — individually replaceable disc segments stacked along a shaft, rather than a single continuous cylinder — which lets a worn section be swapped without discarding the whole broom. Because segment width, count, and stacking pattern vary across Broce's model range more than the simpler gutter-broom mounting styles on some other brands, a physical sample or a clear, straight-on photo of the segment stack is the single most useful thing you can send us.

Fill material follows the same general rule as other sweeper brands: plain polypropylene for everyday sweeping, PP combined with steel wire for more aggressive debris. See our gutter broom material guide for more on that choice.

Request your Broce cross-reference

Send photos (or the segment itself) and measurements via RFQ and we'll match against our Broce replacement wafer broom spec, or build to your machine's exact segment dimensions as a custom order. See our full cross-reference guide for how Broce compares to other sweeper brands.

Frequently asked questions

Why does Broce need a photo more than other brands?
Many Broce machines use wafer/segment-style brooms whose segment width, count, and stacking pattern vary more between models than typical disc gutter broom mounting. A clear photo or physical sample makes matching much faster and more reliable.
