Our Hog-Bristle Paint Brush uses natural, flagged (split-tip) hog bristle, available in 1 to 4 in widths. Flagged bristle holds more paint and releases it more evenly than unflagged bristle, and natural hog bristle in particular holds and releases oil-based paints and varnishes well — it's the traditional choice for oil-based coating work, though it performs less well with water-based latex and acrylic paints, which tend to make natural bristle go limp (a synthetic-filament brush is the better choice there). Produced at our Yuantan factory cluster and available for OEM and private-label paint and hardware brands, with bristle grade, width, and handle finish configurable to your specification.
